Meeks Heit "Health Book" Revealed
The Brainwashing of our Children in Public Schools

A NOTE FOR when you think about your children, family, country and rights: "Every child in America entering school at the age of five is mentally ill because he comes to school with certain allegiances to our founding fathers, toward our elected officials, toward his parents, toward a belief in a supernatural being, and toward the sovereignty of this nation as a separate entity. It's up to you as teachers to make all these sick children well by creating the international child of the future." --Harvard psychiatrist Chester M. Pierce, speaking as an expert in public education at the 1973 International Education Seminar

Analysis of Meeks Heit Health Book Weapons Section

Before I begin this section I must reiterate to you, the State Board of Education, THAT THE SECTION ON WEAPONS AND GUNS SHOULD NOT BE IN THIS BOOK.

I am proceeding with this section to prove to you how far the Meeks Heit Health books have gone in brainwashing our children. The following information is taken from the Health and Wellness Book. It denotes all references to guns and weapons. A strike through strike through denotes a problem with the statement, following the reasons why and what should have been said. Remember, messages can be sent to children with underlying agendas without blatantly stating that agenda. As you will note, in most cases, the health books do little to cover their tracks as far as to what their agenda is.

Why Drug Use Increases the Risk of Violence

"Stay away from people who own weapons".
Should read: "Stay away from people who own weapons illegally".

A safe and drug-free school zone … and use of weapons".

First of all the Supreme Court ruled that it is unconstitutional to have a law which says guns cannot be near school grounds. Secondly every instance of massacres in schools have been propagated due to the fact that they were "weapons free safe school areas". In fact, in Pearle Mississippi if it weren't for the Principal having a gun and using it the massacre would have been worse. He stopped them with a weapon (gun). Did you ever hear of a massacre at a shooting range, police station, gun shop, or any place else where people can defend themselves?

Most of the citizens that inhabit the 34* states which allow concealed weapons permits are now realizing that it is unsafe not to allow weapons by law abiding citizens to be carried there. Most of these states have now passed or in the process of passing laws which allow the citizenry to carry on school grounds.
*As of Jan. 10, 2004, there are 47 states in the that have some form of conceal carry.

Our own state of South Carolina has now entered bill reforming this:

H.3010 - Gun Law Reform Bill. It eliminates the restricted areas of churches; parking lots of nice restaurants, publicly owned buildings, and schools; and state parks.

In Israel where terrorists attacks against schools reached an all-time high a law was passed that anyone on school grounds (teachers, etc.) MUST HAVE A WEAPON. The terrorists attacks stopped cold, PERIOD. A terrorist who was captured told the Israeli police that they even switched targets because of the weapons on the school grounds.

But Meeks Heit does not tell our children this. There blanket statement does not tell anything to our children but fear the weapons and fear the people carrying them!

"There are increased penalties for using and selling drugs and having weapons in this zone."
Should read: illegal weapons in this zone.

As I said earlier this used to be the case but not anymore. More and more states are realizing that this is not true and our children are dying because of it.

You Can Reduce the Risk of Being Injured by a Weapon

Vocabulary Words

Concealed weapon

Life Skill: I will not carry a weapon
Should read:
I will not carry an illegal concealed weapon

Weapons are widely available in society.

According to several surveys, one in five high school students has carried a gun, knife, or club weapon to school or someplace else.

Were these supposed surveys taken in inner city schools? No footnotes so verification is impossible.

Teens are more likely to use concealed weapons to solve disagreements today than they were in the past.

Where can this be verified? No footnotes so verification is impossible.

In many cases, fighting with fists has been replaced by fighting with guns and weapons.

Where can this be verified? No footnotes so verification is impossible.

This lesson emphasizes the risks associated with carrying a weapon.

Risks associated with an illegally possessed weapon where is the distinction between legally possessed. Where are the facts about legally possessed thwarting crime and being used in one's protection?

The Lesson Outline

Why It Is Risky to Carry a Weapon

One sided and not true.

Should be: Why It Is Risky to Carry an Illegally Possessed Weapon

Page 697

Objectives

3. List and discuss four reasons why carrying a weapon increases the risk of being injured.

One-sided brainwashing. Carrying a concealed weapon does just the opposite as proven earlier.

Should read: List and discuss four reasons why carrying an illegally possessed weapon increases the risk of being injured.

Page 697

Why It is Risky to carry a Weapon
Should read: Why It is Risky to carry an illegally possessed Weapon and life saving to having a legally concealed weapon.

A weapon is an instrument or device used for fighting. Guns, knives, razor blades, pipe bombs, brass knuckles, clubs, and stun guns are examples of weapons.

A weapon is a tool used for fighting and defending one's self, one's country, one's family, and against a tyrannical government.

Guns are the weapons most likely to be used to harm teens.

A complete lie proven statistically.

The law forbids people of any age from carrying a conceal weapon.

This is an out-and-out lie. 34 states* have concealed weapons permits available.
*As of Jan. 10, 2004, there are 47 states in the that have some form of conceal carry.

A concealed weapon is a weapon that is hidden partially or fully from view.

A concealed weapon is always fully hidden from view, never partially.

There also laws that regulate the way guns may be transported in cars and that prohibit carrying weapons to school.

As was pointed out earlier there are now laws which permit weapons being carried to school, on school grounds, in their parking lots.

Why Carrying a Weapon Increases the Risk of Injury

This is not true as proven earlier in this document. In fact the opposite has been proven.

Should be: Why Carrying an Illegally Possessed Weapon Increases the Risk of Injury.

1. Carrying a weapon increases the risk of injury due to accidents.

Lies, propaganda, and it is backed up by statistical evidence. Where are their footnotes?

Every day, a teen dies or is seriously injured in a gun accident.

An absolute lie as proven by the statistics earlier in this document

In most cases, the victim was 'fooling around with the gun.

An absolute lie as proven by the statistics earlier in this document.

(S)he may not have known how to handle the gun or may have been showing off the gun to impress others or gain status.

An absolute lie as proven by the statistics earlier in this document

(S)he may have thought the gun was not loaded and wondered what it would be like to pull the trigger.

An absolute lie as proven by the statistics earlier in this document

The victim may have been handling a gun that was bought in an illegal manner.

Where are the facts verifying this. Where are the footnotes. Why? Because it does not exist!

Or, (s) he may have been around a person handling a gun for one of the above reasons.

An absolute lie as proven by the statistics earlier in this document.

2. Carrying a weapon increases the risk that it will be used to settle a fight. Teens who carry a weapon may use the weapon if they get into a fight. If they had not had the weapon, they might have settled their disagreement in a different way. But, when emotions are strong and someone has a weapon, it is easy to use it. Once the weapon has been used, there is no way to take back any injury that has been inflicted. If a teen has a weapon, there also is the possibility that another person will wrestle it away and use it to get even.

The entire paragraph is not based in any factual statistics. It is conjecture, hypothesis, and a scare technique to push their agenda. We have not had a rash of the instances that are espoused above.

3. Carrying a weapon increases the risk of it being used in a crime.

An absolute lie as proven by the statistics earlier in this document.

But they may actually use the weapon if the victim puts up a fight.

Where is this information coming from? Again pure conjecture and hypothesis, not based in statistical analysis, even if it were true in some cases that does not make it a rule as stated above.

4. Carrying a weapon, particularly a gun, increases the risk of suicide.

You are carrying a legal concealed weapon so you are going to be more inclined to commit suicide? Where are the footnotes and verification of this statement?

Page 698

How to Reduce the Risk of Being Injured by a Weapon

There are actions you can take to reduce the risk of being injured by a weapon.

2. Do not carry a concealed weapon.

Again the outlandish slant against legally carried concealed weapons. No distinction is made so they are putting it into the child's mind so he would be against conceal carry.

4. Encourage others to avoid buying, carrying, or concealing a weapon. Be a positive influence. The fewer weapons there are in your community, the safer you and others will be.

This is the ultimate in brainwashing. Besides for it being untrue it is distorting the minds of our children as proven by the statistics earlier and the other information presented.

5. Do not pretend you are going to use a weapon. Pretending can be misinterpreted, This behavior may threaten others into violence. For example, suppose you point your finger in your pocket to pretend you have a gun. Another person may respond with violence for self-protection.

Zero tolerance out of whack and being perpetrated in this book. A finger is going to elicit a violent act of self-protection?

6. Avoid being around people who buy, carry, conceal, or use weapons.

This is the ultimate in brainwashing. What people who are hunters, using their weapons for self defense, etc.

You want to stay safe, and you cannot be certain what will happen if another person has a weapon.

This is the ultimate in brainwashing also using fear to indoctrinate.

7. Remember, weapons often are used to inflict injury

This is the ultimate in brainwashing. As was shown earlier this is a falsehood and what about the other uses of "weapons".

8. Avoid being in situations In which there will be weapons.

This is the ultimate in brainwashing. Put fear into the child so he doesn't ever want to go to a range and shoot, learn how to use a gun for defensive purposes, etc.

Review

Objectives

3. What are the four reasons why carrying a weapon increases the risk of injury?

This is the ultimate in brainwashing. Reaffirming the lies and distortions they have brought out earlier in there pages

Effective Communication

Write a rap or a poem about why it is risky to carry a weapon. Ask your teacher for permission to perform the rap or poem in class.

Write a rap, perform the rap - I did not know that rap was a new form of communication for a child to learn.

Meeks-Heit Test Pages

One parent in Pennsylvania is trying to stop the brainwashing of his children by the government school system. The following 4th-grade test pages were sent to me by a parent who became aware of the Meeks Heit "Health" curriculum.

The students were instructed that they may complete the tests as homework, but the pages must be brought back to school and cannot be brought home again until the end of the school year.
