Meeks Heit "Health Book" Revealed
The Brainwashing of our Children in Public Schools

A NOTE FOR when you think about your children, family, country and rights: "Every child in America entering school at the age of five is mentally ill because he comes to school with certain allegiances to our founding fathers, toward our elected officials, toward his parents, toward a belief in a supernatural being, and toward the sovereignty of this nation as a separate entity. It's up to you as teachers to make all these sick children well by creating the international child of the future." --Harvard psychiatrist Chester M. Pierce, speaking as an expert in public education at the 1973 International Education Seminar

The Beginning

Dear Readership:

This action I am taking has its roots in an article that was published by a Greenville paper in South Carolina. The article stated explicitly that our children were being indoctrinated and brainwashed by a health book that is used nationwide. I acquired the health book and found that the article was true. I put a phone call in to my local schools and after over 7 weeks of being run around (continually calling to talk to someone who could direct me to the information I sought) with no return phone calls, finally came the lame excuses, etc., I finally was able to acquire one of the health books used by my local high school.

After receiving the health book I found out that the reason why schools throughout South Carolina were using them was because it was on an approved list by the South Carolina State Board of Education. So the problem was not with the schools but with the State Board of Education. Even though the State Board of Education claims that each individual school can pick their own books you and I both know that are going to pick the books that are on the approved list.

Summary

The purpose of this presentation is to show that the topic of weapons (specifically guns) do not belong in a health book. The facts presented in this presentation show undeniably that the threat and deluge of weapons in our country and our schools, as a health and medical epidemic, is non-existent (except for inner city schools where violence is a way of life). The information provided also has shown that the Meeks Heit approach is just one portion of a segment in our society which is trying to by-pass the political process and destroy our rights as citizens for bearing arms and reaching out to our children to brainwash them into the same mindset.

I could have just broken down the statements from the book but that will not suffice. It will not suffice because in order for you to understand the statements, you must have the history and validations of what is really going on. It is imperative for all the information to be read and digested before you read the analysis of the book's statements.

Our children are our future. We cannot allow them to be brainwashed, or our country will eventually cease to exist. If this report casts even a shred of reasonable doubt on the Meeks Heit health books, they should be removed from our schools immediately.

The steps are simple:

1. Find out if your state board of education are using any of the Meeks Heit Health books. Most probably, the answer will be 'yes', because these books are like a cancer throughout schools systems.

2. Either contact your local schools (the Meeks Heit books start at K-1 and go to K-12) and secure a copy of the books (Meeks Heit Totally Awesome Health Book, Meeks Heit Health and Wellness Book, or any of their so-called Health books). As a tax payer, there is no reason why you should not be able to secure a school book for evaluation; it is your right and your money that has paid for the book. If you cannot secure the book from a school, contact your local state senators and representatives and tell them that you want something done, because you and your tax dollars are being abused. In the meantime go to your local library and get it.

3. After you secure the books, go to the Index (at the end of the book), lookup weapons and guns, and record the pages. Analyze the statements. Please feel free to use my documentation as a template! All the Meeks Heit books follow the same platform: anti-gun, anti-rights, and anti-self-defense.

4. Contact your state board of education and arrange to speak against the use of the Meeks Heit books. Have copies of your documentation to distribute to the board members. You will probably have only five minutes or so to talk, so make sure your documentation can stand on its own. This way, the board members can evaluate and discuss your packet at their next meeting and render a decision.

BE FOREWARNED: Teachers, principals, local boards of education, and up to and including the state boards of education will throw every obstacle they can at you. From not returning telephone calls, not helping you secure the books, telling you stories of how the books were reviewed thoroughly but: you now have it in writing as to what these health books are about! If you care about your children this information is a must read!

If you do not get satisfaction (getting these books out of children's hands) or a resolution of this issue, it is time to go to court. Get your Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) in on this to gather support.

Meeks-Heit Test Pages

One parent in Pennsylvania is trying to stop the brainwashing of his children by the government school system. The following 4th-grade test pages were sent to me by a parent who became aware of the Meeks Heit "Health" curriculum.

The students were instructed that they may complete the tests as homework, but the pages must be brought back to school and cannot be brought home again until the end of the school year.
